This extremely rare fuselage cut was cut from A Pan Am 747 Clipper Tradewind sporting the reg N4712U
This has been cut from directly above window 85, main deck, port side.
30cm x 20cm approx
Professionally cleaned and restored, each rivet polished to a shine and fitted with a genuine Pan am ID plate and 747 lettering.
This is the most rare piece of history we have managed to get our hands on and we still cannot believe it.
Delivered to United as N4712U in 1970. To Pan Am in 1985. Fitted with side cargo door in 1988. I think it can just be seen on the rear fuselage. To Aeroposta in 1992 . Converted to a freighter for Polar Air Cargo in 1994. Reregistered as N852FT in 1995. Used as a ground trainer at Prestwick from 2002. Scrapped in 2017. Parts to Sunderland for preservation.
