This beautiful hand made chair is crafted out of the radome nose cone from a De Havilland Canada DHC-8.
That’s right, this chair was made from the nose of an actual aircraft.
The worlds first dash 8 radome egg chair! Only one ever made - By Jayyviation
From the nose of a turboprop airliner to your home or office.
It’s not the most comfortable chair you’ll ever sit in, but it is one of the most unique seats you’ll probably ever see.
The sturdy furniture piece in its original form sits on a black steel swivel stand which can be adjusted in height.
The De Havilland Canada DHC-8, commonly known as the Dash 8, is a series of turboprop-powered regional airliners, introduced by de Havilland Canada in 1984. DHC was later bought by Boeing in 1988, then by Bombardier in 1992; then by Longview Aviation Capital in 2019, reviving the De Havilland Canada brand.
This has been professionally cleaned and restored, inside sprayed, black trim fitted around the edges to smoothen, comes with a custom made cushion.
Dimensions:
Height - 120cm
Width - 94cm
Length - 85cm
Depth - 75cm
This really would make a beautiful edition to your home office or living room.
