This coffee table is made from an access door taken from a Royal Air Force Boeing E-3 Sentry aircraft, a military airborne early warning and control (AWACS) aircraft based on the Boeing 707 platform. Unlike polished metal designs, this table retains the original patina and wear, showcasing the aircraft’s operational history. The sturdy access door is topped with a custom-fitted, racetrack oval glass, allowing the authentic details of the door to remain visible beneath. The E-3 Sentry, equipped with a distinctive radar dome, is used for surveillance, command, and control, providing essential airborne radar coverage and communication to support military operations.
